Set up your online store

Before you start

The online store is on the Pro and Business plans. Pro shows up to 50 boards and Business has no limit. Only team owners and admins can change the storefront. Surfbase takes no fee on your store sales.

Steps

1. Open the storefront

   Select Storefront under Online store in the sidebar.

2. Fill in your store details

   Add a Store name, a Blurb shown under it, a Custom URL and a Store logo. Pick a Theme: System, Light or Dark.

3. Add About & contact

   Write your About page, add a Contact email and a Location. Switch on Custom orders to show a card where riders can ask for a board shaped for them. Select Save.

4. Publish your boards

   Go to Inventory, then Stock boards, and open a board, or select New stock board. Set the Asking price, add photos, and turn on Publish to online store.

5. Open the store

   Switch on Public store. Nothing is public until you do, and visitors see "Store unavailable" until then. Select Visit store to check it.

If something goes wrong

• Only available boards can be published. A sold or held board comes off the store until it's made available again.
• If the store says Needs attention, check your Stripe payout currency matches your team's currency and that charges are enabled.
