View a board in AR
Stand a design on your workshop floor or hang it on a wall, true to scale, before a blank is cut.

Before you start
AR needs a real iPhone, with the Surfbase app from the TestFlight beta. Give yourself a clear patch of floor or wall with decent light.
Steps in the iPhone app
-
Open the design
Select the Designs tab and open the board.
-
Switch to 3D View
Select 3D View above the drawing.
-
Select AR
Select the AR button in the corner of the 3D view. The board model is prepared on your phone, which takes a moment.
-
Choose where it goes
If the design offers both, pick On the floor or On a wall. Otherwise it goes on the floor.
-
Place it
Move your phone slowly so it finds the surface, then the board appears. Walk around it to see the rails, rocker and graphics.
From the web on an iPhone
You can also open a design in Safari on your iPhone. In the 3D View, select View in AR in the viewer controls. The button only shows on a device that supports AR.
If something goes wrong
- If the AR button isn't there, check you're in the 3D View.
- If the board drifts or won't appear, try a surface with more texture and better light.
