Join the iPhone app beta

Before you start

• You need an iPhone on iOS 26 or later.
• You need a Surfbase account. The app works on every plan, including Free.
• The beta runs through TestFlight, Apple's app for testing apps before they reach the App Store.

Steps

1. Ask for an invite

   The beta is by invitation. Get in touch through the Contact page and tell us the email address you use with Apple.

2. Install TestFlight

   On your iPhone, install TestFlight from the App Store.

3. Accept the invite

   Open the invitation on your iPhone and follow it into TestFlight. Select Install next to Surfbase.

4. Sign in

   Open Surfbase and sign in with the same email and password you use on the web. If you've turned on two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app, or use a recovery code.

5. Pick your team

   If you belong to more than one team, choose the active team in Settings.

If something goes wrong

• If the app won't install, check your iPhone is on iOS 26 or later.
• If sign-in fails, check you can sign in on the web with the same details. Accounts are shared between the web and the app.
