Set up your production stages

List the stages a board moves through in your shop, in order, with a target number of days for each.

Before you start

Production tracking is on the Pro and Business plans, and only team owners and admins can change the stages. A new team has no stages, so boards can't go on the floor until you add some.

Steps

  1. Open the stages

Go to Settings, then Production stages.

  2. Pick the board category

Choose Surfboard or Bodyboard. Each category has its own list, so a bodyboard can skip stages a surfboard needs.

  3. Add the stages

Select Add a stage, type a name such as Shaped or Glassed, and select Add. Add them in the order a board moves through the shop.

  4. Put them in order

Drag a stage by its handle, or use Move up and Move down from its menu.

  5. Set targets

Select a stage's target and type the number of days it should take. Boards that sit longer show as past target on the floor.

Changing stages later

Select Rename from a stage's menu to change its name. Renaming never rewrites past history.

To remove a stage, select Remove from its menu. A stage that has never been used is deleted. A stage with production history is archived instead: it's hidden from new boards, and its name still shows on past boards. You can restore an archived stage.
