Getting started
Start a design from a template
Pick a surfboard or bodyboard template, name the design, and open it in the editor with real dimensions to work from.
On this page 3 sections
Steps
-
Start a new design
Go to Designs and select New design.
-
Choose A template
Under Start from, select A template.
-
Pick a shape
Under Shape, choose Surfboard or Bodyboard, then select a template card. Each card shows the template's outline, dimensions and estimated volume.
-
Name it
Type a Name, for example Twin Fish. The name is the only required field, and it must be unique in your team.
-
Create the design
Select Create design. The design opens in the editor, where you set the exact size.
The templates
- Surfboard: Blank, Grom, Fish, Hybrid, Shortboard, Groveler, Step Up, Gun, Mid Length, Longboard and Standup.
- Bodyboard: Prone, Dropknee and Combo.
A template is a starting point. Change the shape, build and graphics after the design is created.
Other ways to start
Choose An existing design to copy one you already have, from any of its versions. On Pro and Business you can also choose A 3D model and import an .s3dx, .brd or .stl file.
